When Gritty's Portland Brew Pub opened in 1988 it became Maine's first brew pub since prohibition and a leader in the state's microbrew revolution. Since then, locals of every stripe and visitors from around the world have been enjoying fine, small-batch ales brewed on-premise, great pub fare and a real old world pub atmosphere.

Gritty's Portland Brew Pub is the perfect place to experience the ambience of Portland's Old Port. Our Fore Street location is right in the heart of the historic district. Wine Tastings at Gritty’s L/A!
Drive away the winter chill with free cheese and wine tastings every Monday night from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Gritty’s Auburn!
