Add some smoked peat, a little caramelized malt, a lot of water, a dash of hops, then age for a month or more and you get the one of the most unique and strong small batch ales we’ve ever done! Introducing Noonan’s Wee Heavy. Ed and Shane teamed-up with Steve and Russ the brewers from the Vermont Pub and Brewery to create an 8% Scottish style ale. Brewed in honor of a brewing pioneer, Greg Noonan, founder of VBP and the author of “Scotch Ale”.” This beer is going to go fast. So get into Gritty’s Portland to try this amazing collaboration brew before it’s gone.
